ME: ESTABLISHED IN 2001
I like to think of myself as a Jill of all trades, as I’m skilled in advertising, concepting, writing, designing, leading, and all-around creating. Growing up, I was always giving sales presentations about our newest kitchen appliance, directing movies that I forced my friends to star in, and designing brochures for my Girl Scout cookie sales operations.
I just earned my master’s in Cinema & Media Studies at the UCLA School of Television, Film, and Theater. Here, I have focused my studies on everything from politics playing out in red carpet fashion to how privilege plays out in the Gossip Girl reboot to tabloid’s impact on female celebrity personas. I’ve also gotten to dabble in filmmaking, filming my own shorts and working hands-on in production on sets. In 2023, I graduated from Mizzou with a Bachelors of Journalism in Strategic Communication (with an Art Direction emphasis) and minors in Business and Film, even interning abroad in London for a semester! In the process, I grew a soft spot for Mizzou’s old gold color scheme that I previously thought clashed with my undertones.
As someone who has a knack for all things visual, be it film, interior design, or a good tablescape, I also have a love for fashion. I have taken courses through the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in Fashion PR & Events as well as styling, and use my blog with my sister as a shared creative outlet for sartorial storytelling. I’m also a huge fan of the outdoors, spending my summers in the Rocky Mountains hiking, backpacking, and seeing how many chipmunks I can spot per mile. I’m even Wilderness First Aid certified, so if a bear attacks, I’m your gal (before the EMTs arrive, that is).
Thanks for sticking around to get to know me. I value imagination, connections, and authenticity and can’t wait to see what projects and pursuits are next! In the meantime, I’ll be listening to Charli XCX on an infinite loop, hunting down the best ice cream in LA (and whipping up some of my own), mood-boarding for my next day trip, and hosting socratic seminars to dissect the latest episode of the Bachelor.
