Rent the Runway
Rent the Runway
As part of a semester long project in my Advanced Art Direction course, I created a cross-platform integrated advertising campaign for Rent the Runway. Rent the Runway is a designer fashion rental subscription service that allows women to sustainably access luxury pieces and new styles without committing their entire wallet.
Leaning into the playful, nostalgic, kitschy style of a Barbie doll, I created a campaign based on the idea that even grown women should be able to have fun with their style and reconnect with the childlike excitement that getting dressed once held. Using this juxtaposition between high-end designer pieces and plastic toys, I channeled a nostalgic, intentionally over-the-top and campy art direction approach.
